After Sandra completed her PhD she went to work for various non-profit organisations on Food Issues (policy officer and project manager), which gave her a lot of knowledge about the global food chain. First the Dutch Consumer Organisation, then the Ministry of Agriculture and lastly, she worked for Greenpeace Netherlands as the project manager for Genetically Modified Foods. Sandra therefore has extensive knowledge about legislation around food and herbs, genetic engineering, global production of staple crops, animal feed production, threat to the Amazon because of land clearing for plantations.
Sandra joined Neways in 2009, because Mike Edwards, Car Qualified Diamond Ambassador from Palmerston North, knocked on her door and showed her Neways. By using Neways products over the years and going to centre meetings, she experienced the beauty of the products themselves and in 2012, Sandra decided to seriously look at the business. Her belief about a fair world and that we should stay close to nature is her drive behind doing the business and of course the lifestyle. Sandra is married to Jos and they have two beautiful girls. The family moved from Holland in November 2007.
With Sandra's extensive knowledge in Microbiology and Biology, she will share her insights on the importance of having the right balance of bioflora in the gut and how that can be achieved and more.
